NATIONAL TRUST HERITAGE CENTRE Townsville
The historic houses complex displays on the site three typical North Queensland houses:
- a simple miners cottage built about 1884,
- a comfortable villa residence dated 1888, and
- a farmhouse built about 1921.
The cottage and the villa are furnished in a style appropriate to them and with an emphasis
on items made in North Queensland.
